Kids Life Inc. began with a simple goal: to give children access to experiences they might otherwise never have. Lakisha wanted young people to see more of the world and more possibilities for themselves.
A family history of mental health and substance use challenges, along with needs she saw throughout her community, expanded that vision. She recognized the importance of emotional wellness, family support, and clear pathways to care.
Her own stressful pregnancy and postpartum experience reinforced her belief that support should begin during pregnancy and continue through early parenthood. Today, Kids Life Inc. brings experiences, wellness, and practical resources together so children and families can get support at every stage of life.
Founder & Executive Director
Lakisha is a Denver native, multi-faceted entrepreneur, and community leader whose work centers on children and families. Her own experiences shaped her belief that everyone deserves support, exposure, and the chance to build a different future. Through Kids Life Inc., she brings wellness, cultural exploration, family support, and access to opportunity under one umbrella.
